Siemens F31130 fault code meaning

Siemens / F31130

Series: G120-CU250S-2

Encoder 1: Zero pulse and position error during coarse synchronization

converter

Meaning: After pole position initialization using signal C/D, Hall signals, or pole position detection is complete, the detected zero pulse is outside the permissible range. For distance-coded encoders, this check is performed after 2 zero pulses have been crossed. Fine synchronization is not performed. When initialization using signal C/D (p0404) is selected, a check determines whether the zero pulse occurs within a mechanical angle range of +/-18 °. When initialization using Hall signals (p0404) or pole position detection (p1982) is selected, a check determines whether the zero pulse occurs within an electrical angle range of +/-60 °.
