Meaning: Signal C/D error: greater than +/-15 ° mechanical angle or greater than +/-60° electrical angle; or Hall signal error: greater than +/-60 ° electrical angle. The period of signal C/D equals 360 ° mechanical angle. The period of the Hall signal equals 360 ° electrical angle. For example, monitoring responds if the Hall sensor used in place of signal C/D is connected for the wrong direction of rotation or sends inaccurate values. For distance-coded encoders, after fine synchronization using one or 2 reference marks, this fault is no longer reported; alarm A31429 is reported instead.
