Siemens F07907 fault code meaning

Siemens / F07907

Series: G120-CU250S-2

Internal armature short circuit: Motor terminal potentials are no longer isolated after pulse suppression

converter

Meaning: The "Internal voltage protection" function has been activated (p1231 = 3). Observe the following: - With internal voltage protection active, all motor terminals are at half the DC bus potential after the pulses are disabled (without internal voltage protection, the motor terminals are electrically isolated)! - Only motors with short-circuit protection may be used (p0320 < p0323). - The motor module must be able to continuously withstand 1.8 times the motor short-circuit current (r0331)(r0289). - The fault reaction does not interrupt internal voltage protection. Overcurrent while internal voltage protection is active will damage the motor module and/or the motor. - If the motor module does not support auto internal voltage protection (r0192.10 = 0), the components must use an external 24 V power supply (USV) to ensure functional safety in the event of a power supply fault. - If the motor module supports auto internal voltage protection (r0192.10 = 1), the components must use the 24 V power supply via the control infeed to ensure functional safety in the event of a power supply fault. - If internal voltage protection is active, prolonged driving by an unknown device cannot

(For example: by a tensile load
