Meaning: EMF too high, auto reduction of field current. (Valid in operating states – –, I, II) α > (αW (inverter stability limit according to P151)-5°) or, at a small (discontinuous) current, α > (165°- 5°). The field is reduced when alarm A043 is issued. A P controller whose output reduces the EMF controller reference controls the armature firing angle to (αW (or 165°)-5°). For this reason, parameterization for “field current reference input controlled via internal EMF” is required (P081 = 1). When a torque direction change is requested, both torque directions are inhibited until the control angle (K101) calculated for the armature current demand in the new torque direction is < 165°, i.e., until the field and consequently EMF have been reduced accordingly.
