Runaway (protection scheme 2)
servo drive
Meaning: The speed feedback direction is detected to be opposite to the torque command direction, and speed feedback meets the runaway speed threshold for scheme 2 in speed or position mode (H13.03) or for scheme 2 in torque mode (H13.04); in speed or position mode, the torque command meets the minimum of the scheme 2 runaway current threshold (H13.02) and the torque limit, or in torque mode, it is not 0. The runaway distance meets the runaway error distance threshold (H13.01).
Possible causes
- 1.Torque limit too low or selected equipment undersized, causing a false runaway fault.
- 2.Abnormal machine collision causes a false runaway fault.
- 3.Excessive gravitational load during vertical-axis operation causes a false runaway fault.
- 4.Severe vibration causes a false runaway fault.
- 5.Electrical angle error.
- 6.Encoder cable fault.
- 7.The motor power cable is damaged.
- 8.The motor or drive is damaged.
