Inovance E187.1 fault code meaning
Inovance / E187.1
Series: MD520
Excessive position deviation
AC drive
Meaning: This fault is reported when the position deviation (L8-37) exceeds the excessive position deviation detection threshold (B0-27/28) for the set time (B0-29).
Possible causes
- 1. The excessive position deviation threshold setting is inappropriate. For example, a sine/cosine encoder or a 23-bit encoder has a very high line count, so the threshold should be increased accordingly.
- 2. In position synchronization, the acceleration/deceleration time for the speed commanded by the master may be too short for the slave (this AC drive) to respond.
- 3, speed loop gain, or position loop gain is set too low, resulting in insufficient motor response.
