AC drive overload
AC drive
Meaning: AC drive overload is determined when the overload duration reaches the time specified by the AC drive overload curve.
Possible causes
- Load too large or motor locked rotor
- Carrier frequency setting too high
- Low DC bus voltage during high-speed operation under heavy load
- Prolonged operation below 5Hz causes low-frequency derating
- Output ground fault
- Output phase loss
- Motor parameter error
- Starting the motor while it is already rotating
- Encoder phase sequence error
- Incorrect AC drive model setting
- Selected AC drive capacity is too small

AC drive overload
AC drive
Meaning:
Possible causes
- Excessive load or locked rotor
- Unstable synchronous motor operation near SVC0Hz (synchronous motor SVC)
- Induction motor SVC synchronous frequency runs near 0Hz (induction motor SVC)
- Synchronous motor demagnetization (synchronous motor SVC)
- Motor parameters have not been identified in vector control (synchronous motor/induction motor SVC) Continued below
- Continued from above: V/f acceleration/deceleration time too short (asynchronous motor V/f)
- V/f curve reference voltage too large (asynchronous motor V/f)
- Torque boost parameter setting too high (asynchronous motor V/f)
- Direct start while the motor is still rotating (synchronous/asynchronous motor SVC)
- V/f oscillation overload (induction motor V/f) Continued below
- Continued from above: Synchronous motor magnetic pole angle identification error (synchronous motor SVC)
- Motor parameter setting error
- Selected AC drive capacity is too small
- A fault is triggered or a manual coast stop is initiated after synchronous motor overspeed
- Derating caused by prolonged operation at low frequency
- Model parameter setting error
- Derating caused by an excessively high carrier frequency setting
