Inovance E005.1 fault code meaning
Inovance / E005.1
Series: DT60, MD610-INT, MD610, MD630-JC, MD630
DC bus overvoltage
AC drive
Meaning:
Possible causes
- Output ground fault
- Insufficient braking energy recovery power during generating operation (synchronous/asynchronous motor SVC)
- Sudden load removal causes speed overshoot and generating operation (synchronous/asynchronous motor SVC)
- Speed loop parameter settings are too weak, causing feedback speed overshoot and regenerative operation when the speed reference reaches the target value (synchronous/asynchronous motor SVC)
- Speed loop parameters too aggressive (SVC)
- Direct start while the motor is still rotating (synchronous/asynchronous motor SVC)
- V/f Overvoltage due to oscillation (asynchronous motor V/f) (continued below)
- (Continued from above) Deceleration time too small
- Model parameter setting error
- Braking unit activation voltage setting too high
- Incoming supply voltage too high
- Inappropriate overvoltage suppression parameter settings
- A fault is triggered or a manual coast stop is initiated after synchronous motor overspeed; synchronous motor overspeed; synchronous motor manual coast stop or coast stop triggered by a synchronous motor fault

DC bus overvoltage
AC drive
Meaning: The DC bus voltage exceeds the overvoltage threshold set by A5-09, in V.
Possible causes
- Motor regeneration during deceleration
- A fault is reported and the synchronous motor stops after runaway.
- Incorrect braking resistor selection
- Braking resistor phase loss
- Regeneration due to overshoot when the target speed is reached in vector control
- V/f oscillation
- Incorrect AC drive model setting
