Inovance 42-1 fault code meaning
Inovance / 42-1
Series: MD580
Excessive motor speed deviation
AC drive
Meaning: Fault category: Excessive motor speed deviation; Default severity: Display warning; Reset method: Auto reset
Possible causes
- Acceleration/deceleration time is too short; the motor cannot follow the set motor speed
- The load is too large or the motor has a locked rotor.
- Excessive deviation detection threshold E8-09 is set too low or excessive deviation detection time E8-10 is set too short
- Speed loop PI parameters are too weak in vector control.
- Incorrect encoder parameter settings.

Excessive motor speed deviation
AC drive
Meaning:
Possible causes
- Load too heavy or motor locked rotor
- Control mode is FVC or SVC, and speed loop parameters are too weak
- Control mode is FVC or SVC, and the synchronous motor is demagnetized
- Control mode is FVC or SVC, and motor parameters have not been identified
- Model parameter setting error
- Motor parameter setting error
- Control mode is FVC, and encoder parameter settings are inappropriate
- The control mode is FVC; the encoder circuit is open.
- Control mode is FVC, and the encoder-related parameters have not been identified
- Control mode is FVC, and there is a problem with encoder installation
- The control mode is FVC; encoder power supply error.
- Control mode is FVC, and the synchronous motor position changes after stop
- Current limit setting too small
- Torque limit setting too small
- Power limit setting too small
- Excessive deviation detection threshold E8-09 is set too low or excessive deviation detection time E8-10 is set too short
- Acceleration/deceleration time too short; actual motor speed cannot follow the set speed
