Delta ocd fault code meaning
Delta / ocd
Series: C2000 Plus, CFP2000, CP2000, DPD-K
Overcurrent during deceleration
AC motor drive
Meaning: During deceleration or stopping, the output current exceeds 2.4 times the rated current of the AC motor drive. When ocd occurs, the AC motor drive output is immediately shut off, the motor coasts, and the panel displays error ocd.
Possible causes
- Does the motor's mechanical brake apply too early?
- Check whether faulty insulation in the motor wiring causes the output
- Short circuit
- Load too large
- Sudden load change

Overcurrent during deceleration
AC motor drive
Meaning: During deceleration or stopping, the output current exceeds 3 times the rated current of the AC motor drive. When ocd occurs, the AC motor drive output is immediately shut off, the motor coasts, and the panel displays the ocd error.
Possible causes
- Check whether the motor's mechanical brake is applied too early
- Check whether faulty insulation in the motor wiring causes the output
- Short circuit
- Load too large
- Sudden load change

Overcurrent during deceleration
AC motor drive
Meaning: During deceleration or stopping, the output current exceeds 2.5 times the rated current of the AC motor drive. When ocd occurs, the AC motor drive output is immediately shut off, the motor coasts, and the panel displays the ocd error.
Possible causes
- Does the motor's mechanical brake apply too early?
- Faulty motor wiring insulation causes an output short circuit.
- Motor burnout or insulation deterioration.
- Load too large
- Sudden load change

Series: MS300
Overcurrent during deceleration
AC motor drive
Meaning: During deceleration or stopping, the output current exceeds 3 times the rated current of the AC motor drive. When ocd occurs, the AC motor drive output is immediately shut off, the motor coasts, and the panel displays the ocd error.

Series: MX300
Overcurrent during deceleration
AC motor drive
Meaning: During deceleration or stopping, the output current exceeds 2.5 times the rated current of the AC motor drive. When ocd occurs, the AC motor drive output is immediately disabled, the motor coasts, and the panel displays the ocd error.
Possible causes
- Does the motor's mechanical brake apply too early?
- Faulty motor wiring insulation causes an output short circuit.
- Used on the AC motor drive output side (U/V/W)
- Electromagnetic contactor opening and closing control
- Corresponds to U, V, and W
- Is the stall prevention action setting correct?
