Delta AL060 fault code meaning
Delta / AL060
Series: ASDA-A3, ASDA-B3, ASDA-E3, ASDA-E3C-E, ASDA-E3C-L, ASDA-H3
Absolute position lost
servo drive
Meaning: The absolute encoder loses its internally stored turn count due to battery undervoltage or a power supply interruption.
Possible causes
- Condition: The absolute encoder loses its internally stored turn count due to battery undervoltage or a power supply interruption. Cause:
- Battery voltage too low.
- The battery was replaced while the drive control power was Off.
- No battery is installed after the absolute function is enabled.
- Poor contact or an open circuit in the battery power supply wiring.

Absolute position loss (battery undervoltage present)
servo drive
Meaning: Internal position loss has occurred in the absolute encoder, and the battery is currently in an undervoltage status. (If the battery voltage is normal, AL06A is displayed.)
Possible causes
- Condition: Internal position loss has occurred in the absolute encoder, and the battery is currently in an undervoltage status. (If the battery voltage is normal, AL06A is displayed.) Cause:
- The current battery voltage is too low.
- When the drive is unpowered, excessively low battery voltage causes loss of the encoder turn count.
- After the absolute encoder function is enabled, power is cycled with no battery installed or with the battery charge below the specified level.
- Poor contact or an open circuit in the battery power supply wiring.
