Sumitomo E01 fault code meaning

Sumitomo / E01

Series: HF-320

Power module protection (constant speed)

AC drive

Meaning: When output of an inverter is short circuited or the motor is locked, a large current flows through the inverter and causes a fault. When the current flowing through the power module or a temperature abnormality of the main devices comes to certain level, the output is cut off. (Constant speed)

Over-current protection (At constant Speed)

AC drive

Meaning: Motor is restricted and decelerates Rapidly, excessive current is drawn through the inverter and there is a risk of damage. Current protection circuit operates and the inverter output is switched off.
