Meaning: Instantaneous overcurrent trip. Excess current flowing in the IGBT inverter bridge. Causes may be: if the trip occurs instantaneously at power-on, suspect a short-circuit or low-impedance earth fault; a current surge in the power supply to the drive system; application-related if the drive is running when the trip occurs.
